Staycation...

Because of the economy there has been a significant decrease in the amount of overseas and cross country traveling. At the beginning of the summer I wanted so desperately to get out of Connecticut. But my parents and I decided to stay home and find a few locations in and around the state to visit.

This was especially nice...I always enjoy being in little quaint towns where secret treasures and culture is harbored in homes, small shops, and the friendly residents. I've always imagined myself being married with kids in a small town like this one writing by the water while everyone is off to work or school. Maybe one day......
