It's an amazing moment in one's life when they can say without a shadow of a doubt that they have seen God's hand in action. Today was one of the greatest day of my life. Outside of the day I got baptized this day will always stand out as one of the most spiritually enriching moments I've ever lived through. The dream to start a church of Christ in Bridgeport,CT was conceived years ago. My father has always been ready and willing but there were MANY who doubted it could work, who doubted it was needed, and who doubted there would be enough hands for the labor ahead of us BUT GOD IS GOOD. He answers prayers and He sees beyond the short-sightedness of mankind. We were blessed on June 14th (Our opening day) with 76 people who came to worship in the Holiday Inn Bishop room! God was in our midst showing us that our faith CAN move the mountains in our lives. When we step out and trust Him completely, shunning the doubt the Devil tempts us with, His faithfulness shines through. I cannot wait to worship this coming Sunday and every other Sunday until the Lord returns.
