What comforts you? Is it a hot steamy cup of coffee to start your day? Is it snuggling underneath your favorite blanket after a long, hard day? Is it a night out with your favorite friends? For me, many of those things are a physical comfort. But there is something that reaches deeper into my soul and that is God. He is the Great Comforter. He wraps us in His love and tucks us into His faithfulness.
In 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 it says "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." The beauty of God is that He wants to comfort all of us and the blanket that warms my soul is big enough to reach you and warm yours too. Allow God to tuck you into His everlasting rest and tell someone in need of the great things He has done for you! God bless you... <3 Erika Kimberly
